The well-appointed Pikes Peak Guest Cabin is adjacent to Rocky Mountain Lodge and has a private entrance, a sitting room with a reclining sofa, Roku TV so you can sign into all your streaming apps, along with cable, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a gas fireplace that is double sided and can be enjoyed from both the sitting room and the bedroom, and a writing desk.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, fireplace, closet, and views of the mountains and pine trees out the window. You can even see the North Pole Ferris Wheel (the highest Ferris Wheel in the world) lit up at night from the end of May until the beginning of January.
The spacious bathroom has granite countertops, double sinks, a jetted tub for two (and we TRULY mean for TWO), with mountain views out the picture window, and a large shower with double-sided body spray showerheads, and plenty of drawers and cupboard space.
There is also a kitchen area with a mini fridge & freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, tea kettle, small bar sink, dishes, glassware, silverware, and a table and chairs for two. Please note there are no “cooking” facilities such as a stove or oven. Guests may not use cooking items such as an electric cooktop, etc. in the cabin, but they may be used outdoors if guests want to cook outside.
Also available is an outdoor private hot tub, open year-round, with stunning mountain views, as well as a gazebo, patio, an outdoor table & chairs, and a charcoal and propane grill for guest use (charcoal grill not available if there are fire restrictions, but the propane grill is always available).
No meals or housekeeping services provided; it is strictly a vacation rental. Guests do not have access to the main lodge, which is the owner’s private residence. See our Dining page for an extensive list of restaurants in the area.
*Please note we are a non-smoking property, both inside and outside; and pets are not permitted in the Cabin, or on the property.
