My Mom made Swedish Meatballs as an entree with buttered egg noodles when I was growing up and I love them to this day! I’ve tweaked on the sauce from her recipe just a tad and have come up with our favorite sauce. I often make them as an appetizer and serve them right in the crock pot without the noodles. Great for a holiday or party.
And if you don’t want to take the time to make the meatballs from scratch, it’s ok to buy them frozen. Just put the frozen meatballs in the crock and pour the sauce over them and let them cook for several hours on low.
