I went to visit my daughter in South Carolina last near, and since she was less than an hour from Savannah, Georgia, we spent a day in Savannah and just HAD to go to Paula Deen’s restaurant for lunch. When we were there I just HAD to buy some of her cookbooks, along with a few other items as well. I made this Strawberry Pretzel Salad recipe from one of the Paula Deen cookbooks I bought and it instantly became a HUGE hit. I’ve since made it many times for family events, holidays, pot lucks and parties, and it’s always a hit, and rarely is any left over. Not only is it a great as a side dish, but it’s a perfect cool dessert as well.
